A Life Worth Living

There are simple things in life that in moments of recognition, there is an epiphany that occurs.

It is in those simplicities that the masses would call ordinary, that we realize what our life is worth living for.

Although many circumstantial mishaps leave me dumbfounded beyond description, there are those little moments that keep me going.

I love the sound of my nephew's belly laugh -- he giggles so much when Mommy & Daddy play peek-a-boo with him.

When my sisters and I are all together, I find great delight in getting ready with them and sharing makeup and clothes while having someone to ask, "Does this outfit go with these shoes?"

There are times when I am able to witness an exchange of a kiss between my grandparents -- It gives me great joy and hope for my future & the future of others.

I adore the smell of my mother's perfume that lingers in the house after she's left for work -- even when she's not here I feel like she's always with me.

I'm tickled when I experience the exchange of tearful laughter between my sister Jenn & brother Jared -- true love is sometimes just sharing in humor.

I am amazed by the little things in life - now that's a life worth living!
