Life is not always a spoon full of sugar. There are sour moments that make you pucker up in unbearable discontent. Yet, just like the oh-so-familiar phrase, we must accept that when life gives us lemons, we better sweeten up that sour and make some lemonade. :)
I haven't necessarily made lemonade, though a glass right about now sounds quite delectable. I have however learned to find the beauty within my life. There's nothing better than while amid struggles and disappointments, throwing a little love and laughter in the mix.
I have realized that regardless of all else surrounding, my life is beautiful. Isn't yours?
My sister, bro-in-law & nephew are all in town for a little VA vaycay. Home just isn't quite home without my family. This next week is a much needed "pheeeewwwww" of a breather before mama & I take a little vaycay ourselves. :) Though this week is quite a highlighted moment of my 2011 calendar thus far, there are many more beautiful things in my life. Why not take a peek :)
Meet Cindy, my mother. --> She's my hero. Not figuratively.

My beautiful sisters. They are my role models and best friends. I love them!

Meet Jenn, she's the oldest of the three Valencia gals.

Meet Christy. We like to make a Christy sandwich. :)

I adore them! :)

Here's my beautiful mother and grandmother. Quite the two loving generations. I really have some big shoes to fill!

Meet Hannah Joy. She's my adopted little sis. :)

Now it's time to brag on my three best friends. Missing these gals dearly. The sunshine state has stolen them away from me!

Meet Sierra! She's my little night owl. :)

Meet Ashley! She's my movie & singing buddy. :)

Meet Ames! She's my crafty & humorous girl. :)

I'm so stoked about them, I'd boast with a bff bracelet! ;)

Last but most certainly not least is the one and only handsome fella in my life.
Meet Caden! :)
He's my handsome little nephew.

Ps. I almost forgot my sweets & coffee! :)

I shall not forget that life is beautiful!
