Mornin' blogees!!! (that word was just added to Webster's Dictionary) Today was an early start. I don't quite remember my shower at 5:45 a.m. I can't recall whether I washed my hair with shampoo or shaving cream. Either way, I smell halfway clean. My eyes are almost past the burning point and the frog has almost escaped my throat. I interviewed an individual for a local publication I write for. Let's just say in went well especially considering the state I was in as a walking zombie. Before heading to watch my friend's son for the day (I watch him weekly), I decided I would grab a quick snack. Here's a snippet of what I indulged in on this fine Thursday morning (compliments of The Word For You Today Devotional)...
It's time to move on!
"Regardless of what has happened. He can bring you through it and give you a new song. Will it happen quickly or easily? No, we get through it in different ways, and at different rates. How did the Israelites get through the Red Seas? One step at a time! But when they got to the other side that body of water became the dividing line between their past and their future. But to get beyond your past you must forgive, and keep on forgiving until it loses its hold over you. You must rise up and declare by faith that the power those old issues had over you is broken. Jesus promised that when His word on the issue becomes your word on it, your circumstances will begin to change."
Now how's that for a little Thursday morning snack?! :)
G'day!
